For founders Shannon and Mike George, the idea for Ondare began more than twenty years ago on their first trip together to Costa Rica. Surrounded by a different culture, landscape, and way of life, they discovered a shared love of travel and of bringing home pieces that held a memory of the places they had been. What began as an idea on that first journey stayed with them through the years, quietly taking shape with every trip, every discovery, and every object collected along the way. Ondare is the realization of that long-held dream.
