El Venado Azul

This distinctive hand-carved wooden wall mask was acquired in Mexico and represents a whimsical folk-art interpretation of a deer. The elongated face, natural branch antlers, and hand-painted floral and geometric motifs reflect the colorful, rustic style found in traditional Mexican artisan workshops. The playful expression, complete with a protruding red tongue, gives the piece a lively personality, making it an eye-catching accent for Southwestern, rustic, or eclectic interiors.
